About Me

Hi, I’m Naima! My origin story is a bit complex, but whose isn’t? I was born Mogadishu, Somalia, but left my country of birth before I even developed object permanence. As a refugee, I can’t really say where I am from, but I grew up in Northern Virginia and have lived in New York and Los Angeles. I’ve worn many hats and lived many lives, but at heart, I am a storyteller.
